You can keep writing quotes with the program you already use. Just export them as PDF. Your client scrolls through the PDF on their phone or computer and finds the signing button at the bottom.

Exporting as PDF

ProgramWhere to find it
Word (Windows)File, Save As, choose PDF as the file type
Word (Mac)File, Save As, File Format: PDF
PagesFile, Export To, PDF
CanvaShare, Download, File type: PDF Standard
Google DocsFile, Download, PDF Document

Note

The file can be up to 10 MB. If it's larger, the photos are usually the reason: in Canva choose PDF Standard instead of PDF Print, and in Word compress the pictures before exporting.

Uploading it to the dashboard

  1. Press Nuovo documento (New document), then Carica un file (Upload a file). Or, in Documenti (Documents), press Carica (Upload).
  2. Drag the PDF in or choose it from your computer.
  3. Fill in Titolo (Title) and Cliente (Client). Categoria (Category) is optional and helps you filter your documents.
  4. The Indirizzo del link (Link address) fills in by itself from the title, with a random code at the end.
  5. Leave Firma con codice via email (Sign with a code by email) ticked if the client needs to sign. Tick Ricevi via email (Receive by email) if you want them to be able to have the link sent to them.
  6. If you like, choose the Validità dell'offerta (Offer validity). Then press Carica.

Correcting a PDF you've already uploaded

Open the document, Modifica (Edit) tab, Contenuto (Content) box: choose Nuovo PDF (New PDF) and press Sostituisci il PDF (Replace the PDF). The link stays the same, so your client sees the new version straight away.

Warning

A signed document can't be replaced. First you have to press Azzera la firma (Reset the signature) in the Firma (Signature) box: the old signature is no longer valid and the client has to sign again.
