Uploading an HTML document

How to prepare an HTML page for Okeh: a single file, images with full addresses, and the placeholders for signing and for receiving by email.

An HTML document is a web page. Compared with a PDF, it reads better on a phone and can have sections, photos and tables that fit the screen. Templates and the AI create HTML documents, and you can also upload your own.

What the file needs

  • A single .html file, with the styles inside the <style> tag.
  • Images with their full address, starting with https://. Your client can't see files that are on your computer.
  • No passwords or confidential data in the code: anyone with the link can see the page.

Where to put the signature

By default the signing button appears at the bottom of the page. To put it in a specific place, for example under the terms, write this placeholder:

<!--PV-SIGN-->

For the "Ricevi il documento via email" (Receive the document by email) box, the placeholder is this:

<!--PV-RECEIVE-->

If the feature is switched off on the document, the placeholder is removed and nothing shows.

Editing the HTML

In the Modifica (Edit) tab, Contenuto (Content) box, choose Nuovo file (New file) and press Sostituisci il contenuto (Replace the content), or press Modifica il codice (Edit the code) and then Salva il codice (Save the code). The link doesn't change.
