Connecting ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini

How to connect Okeh to ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini to create, edit and send quotes by writing to the assistant, with your own AI subscription.

Base and Pro plans

The AI connection is on Base, Pro and in the trial. Requests are paid by your AI subscription and don't use the ones included in your plan. Documents you create count toward your plan's limit.

Once it's connected, the assistant uses the Okeh templates: you tell it the client, the job and the prices, it fills in the template, shows you the preview, changes the style and sends the document to your client when you confirm. It also sees who opened and who signed.

The address to copy

https://okeh.app/mcp

It's the same for everyone. When the assistant connects, Okeh opens: choose your space, log in as usual and press Consenti (Allow). You can take away the permission to edit or to send emails.

ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT open Settings, then Apps & Connectors, and turn on Developer mode (on some accounts it's under Security).
  2. Add a custom app or MCP server, paste the address and choose OAuth sign-in.
  3. Okeh opens: choose your space, log in and press Consenti (Allow).
  4. In a new chat, turn on the Okeh app from the tools menu and write what you need.

Note

Which ChatGPT plans can use custom apps that write is up to OpenAI and changes often: today full actions are on Business, Enterprise and Edu, other plans may be read-only. ChatGPT asks you to confirm before sending an email.

Claude (web, desktop and mobile apps)

  1. On claude.ai open Settings, then Connectors, and press Add custom connector.
  2. Paste the address and press Add, then Connect.
  3. Okeh opens: choose your space, log in and press Consenti (Allow).
  4. The connector also works in the Claude desktop app and on your phone, with the same account.

Custom connectors are on every Claude plan (one on the free plan). On Team and Enterprise the organization owner adds the connector, then each member presses Connect.

Claude Code

Add the server in the terminal, then type /mcp in Claude Code, choose Okeh and log in from the browser:

claude mcp add --transport http okeh https://okeh.app/mcp

Gemini

With Gemini CLI (the terminal program) add the server: the first time, the browser opens so you can log in to Okeh.

gemini mcp add --transport http okeh https://okeh.app/mcp

Note

For now the Gemini app on the web and on phones accepts custom apps only in some countries and with personal accounts, not in Italy. As soon as Google opens it up, it connects with the same address.

With the personal code

For Claude Code, scripts and other programs that don't log in from the browser there's the personal code of your space: in Impostazioni (Settings), Avanzate (Advanced) tab, Con il codice personale section, choose the program and copy the block.

What to ask

  • "Make me a quote for a 5-page website for Studio Bianchi, 3,200 euros, no VAT."
  • "Use the Editorial style and show me the preview."
  • "Remove the copywriting item and add maintenance at 30 euros a month."
  • "Send it to marta@esempio.it with a short greeting."
  • "Who opened my quotes this week? Which ones are still waiting for a signature?"

Disconnecting an app

In Impostazioni (Settings), Avanzate (Advanced) tab, you'll find the connected apps with the date they were last used. Scollega (Disconnect) removes access right away. If you move to the Free plan, the connection stops working until you're back on Base or Pro.

Warning

Your personal code works like a password: don't share it. If you think it has ended up in the wrong hands, write to us and we'll change it.
